My name is Todd, and I’ve decided to create this site in an effort to help others (and me!) learn how to better handle our finances.

Just to be clear this is not a site that will tell you how to become a millionaire in 30 days (unless you’re already really, really, really close) or how to buy properties with no money down and flip them working 1 hour a week.

What you will learn are tried and true ways to improve your lives based on a combination of common sense and ideas you may not have considered.

This is a new venture for me, and I expect and things progress I’ll continue to change some of the topics that are covered, the frequency of my posts, as well as the website appearance and capability.

As for me, I’m a married 33 year old. I am first and foremost a Christian and I try my best to weigh all of my thoughts and actions based on their eternal value as well as their value here and now. Regardless of your faith I believe that we can all improve, adapt, and learn ways of leading better lives. My hope is that you will find something here of value and then use it to help both yourselves as well as others that might be struggling like you once did.

Question: Is this site only for Christians?

Answer: No. This site is intended for anyone who is searching and striving to improve their lives in the areas of personal finance and self development. I pointed out that I am a Christian for two reasons. First, it is such a part of who I am that I can’t imagine introducing myself to potentially thousands of people without at least mentioning this part of me. Secondly, there will be some posts that relate to the Bible and biblical principles, and as such it seems logical to know a little bit about the source.

Question: What is your view on site advertising?

Answer: I intend to use ads on and other mechanisms, possibly to include donation links, affiliate links, and other things to help support this site financially. I do not, however, condone unethical or inappropriate ads, and if you happen to see any please let me know by posting a comment on the site with a description of the site. Most of the advertising services on the web choose which ads to display based on a variety of factors, so I am not able to prescreen every advertisement before it is displayed on this site.
